3 Seasons
Genre
Comedy, Drama
Cast
Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple
Created by
Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, Bill Lawrence, Joe Kelly
Do you want to know why Ted Lasso is Apple TV+’s breakout hit? It’s because this is one of the few comedy series that is truly uplifting and inspiring even when the characters face personal turmoil and drama. We believe in Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis), the unfailingly nice American football coach who was hired to coach an English soccer team, AFC Richmond.
The third and final season picks up with Ted’s team facing a very grim prediction for the season, while Ted’s former friend and colleague, Nathan “Nate” Shelley (Nick Mohammed), mocks them from his new position as the coach of a rival team. But Ted is still Ted, and he has a unique way of winning people over. And if you give Ted Lasso a chance, this show will win you over too.

Video game adaptations don’t always work out in Hollywood, but The Last of Us is something special. One of the key figures behind the games, Neil Druckmann, has teamed up with veteran TV producer Craig Mazin for an adaptation that is not only true to the source material, it is also unafraid to surpass it. The first season is now complete, and it is a masterpiece with emotionally rich and complex characters.
At the center of the story are Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a duo who have developed a father-daughter bond as he attempts to get her safely across the country. Ellie may be the only human who is immune to a deadly plague that nearly wiped out humanity. But the emotional stakes are just as high when the bond between Joel and Ellie supersedes everything else.

Many of us are probably not old enough to remember the 1957-1966 Perry Mason series starring Raymond Burr, or the pulp novels that Erle Stanley Gardner wrote 90 years ago. And you don’t have to be familiar with them to enjoy HBO’s reinvention of the series.
Perry Mason keeps the Great Depression time period from Gardner’s original novels, and acts as an origin story for Perry (Matthew Rhys), as he finds himself forced to transition from private investigator to lawyer in order to solve a nearly impossible case. Season 2 begins this Sunday, March 5, with new cast members including Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actress Katherine Waterston and Sean Astin.

The short version is that it takes place in an alternate world, much like our own, which has been divided by literal darkness. And in this world, magic is real.
Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li) is a Sun Summoner who has the ability to control light and perhaps to free her world from the darkness. Now, she just needs to survive her confrontation with her Shadow Summoner counterpart, General Aleksander Kirigan (Ben Barnes).

You don’t need to know anything about Formula 1 racing to be drawn into this documentary series that explores the drivers, teams, and season-to-season drama of the world’s most popular racing sport. Each season of the series takes a deep dive into the prior year’s Formula 1 World Championship competition, profiling the colorful drivers, team principals (basically, the coach of the team), team dynamics, and racing drama that makes Formula One so exciting.
The first season of Drive to Survive covered the 2018 racing season, and subsequent seasons explored the rise — and fall — of various racers, how the league was affected by a global pandemic and the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the delicate balance between camaraderie and competition that fuels the sport. The recently released fifth season brings fans up to speed with the events from the 2022 season.

It’s no secret that Riley Keough is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, or that she recently lost her mother, Lisa Marie Presley. But Keough has her own career in Hollywood, and she’s attempting to build her own legacy. That legacy starts here with Daisy Jones & the Six, a new miniseries on Prime Video.
Keough and Sam Claflin co-headline the series as Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne, respectively. In the ’70s, their band ruled the rock world before it suddenly fell apart. Daisy Jones & the Six utilizes a faux-documentary style to explore the band’s rise and fall, as viewers are left to wonder if Daisy and Billy can come back together again.
